East London in the Eastern Cape, South Africa

East London is South Africa's only river port city and is situated on one of the most attractive stretches of the Eastern Cape coastline. Here, numerous big hotel complexes and apartment blocks determine the scene. The aquarium at the Esplanade is the oldest in South Africa. Besides the fishes, penguins and seals can also be seen here.
